Meet Jennifer, a Physical Therapist from our Springfield, MO region!
We asked her, “What gives you the passion to do what you do?” She said, “I went into physical therapy because I wanted to help people feel their best and live longer, fuller lives. I found that geriatrics was my passion because they are the ones we can learn from the most…plus they have some of the best stories! Sometimes all they need is just a good listener and a big smile to make their day better.”
When we asked Jennifer, “Why Home Care & Why Phoenix?” she told us, “As you know, there is no place like home! I believe that people are happier when they are in their home environment, which means higher quality of life. Home care is the perfect answer for merging physical therapy with those who just need a little extra help. I choose Phoenix because they are just good people! We have a great team and everyone supports one another.”
We asked, “What would you like to tell others contemplating working at Phoenix Home Care & Hospice?” Her response was, “Phoenix supports its employees in providing the best care possible for each patient. We have a lot of fun and most of us have been here for years because it’s the best Home Care around the area!”
Time flies… Jennifer has worked in home care for sixteen years, and she’s been a Phoenix employee for nine years! We know her tenure and experience adds to the amazing quality of care she provides to our clients.
Outside of work, Jennifer is a married mom of two teenagers and two rescue dogs, and loves spending time with the whole family. She also has a passion for holistic health and wellness outside of the medical industry, with a background in teaching fitness and nutritional counseling. Some other hobbies of hers include playing the piano, reading, and watching a good Hallmark movie.
