Krista Schmidt

Meet Krista Schmidt, a RN, in the Overland Park region! “I  enjoy making sure people feel loved and cared for. It’s important to me that my patients get the care they deserve especially in their final days.” “Outside of work I like to paint, work on DIY home improvement projects, and do crafts. Buy I spend most of my free time these days taking care of my 8 month old son and 3.5 year old daughter.”

“I love home care because you get to spend dedicated, meaningful time with each patient and family without call lights and alarms and other patients needing your help just outside the door. I feel that caring for people in their home allows you to be more ‘present’. I love the autonomy that we can have in hospice, and at Phoenix especially. I haven’t worked for another company who has been so accommodating to their employees when “life happens.”

The atmosphere at work is easy going. The relationships I have with my immediate coworkers and field staff are overall friendly and easy going. I very much feel as though we are a true team, and true friends.” “I love home care because it is such a special experience. When you are with your patient, there are not call lights and alarms and other patients needing things right outside the door. You get to have dedicated and meaningful time with each individual patient and family.”

“Give Phoenix a chance! If  you are on the fence and want to see what it’s like. Refer to my paragraph above ?”
