“I started with Phoenix in October 2019. I came from another hospice where I worked 14 years as a chaplain doing Bereavement and Spiritual Care.”
“When I was 11-years-old, I understood I was a sinner and needed a Savior. I asked Jesus Christ to forgive my sin and come into my life. Christ started a work in me, and as it says in Philippians 1:6,
“I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
The Lord has given me a heart for people that are hurting, broken, and in need of hope. I care for people, and I like to let the light of the Lord Jesus Christ shine so others can know Him. I want others to see the love of Christ lavished on people who need help.”
“Outside of work I love being with my family. I love singing, I enjoy helping small churches, I enjoy hunting, target shooting, and sitting in our backyard enjoying the birds, looking at my wife’s flowers, and watching our grandchildren.”
“Hospice fell into my lap after pastoring and doing chaplaincy for 25 years. Those facing death, their families, and the bereaved need people who care and can offer hope and comfort. I love to do this by sharing Jesus Christ with people. I knew other employees at Phoenix Home Care and Hospice. I needed a change and began to look at Phoenix.
