We asked Logan, What gives you the passion to do what you do?
Logan: “I have always wanted to help others! Seeing their smiles and hearing that they’ll be able to do things they enjoy with the energy they would’ve used to clean means the world to me!”
Why Home Care & Why Phoenix?
L: “I picked home care because of what it means to people. My ultimate goal is to help people regain or continue to have their independence and getting to do things they enjoy. Home care means I can take the hard, boring tasks from them and I love that!
As for picking Phoenix, I had a friend from an old job tell me about how much she enjoyed working for them. I could tell from the moment I started she was right, Phoenix offers so much to me and I love the team I work for.”
What would you tell others contemplating working at Phoenix Home Care and Hospice?
L: “I would say go for it! I love working for Phoenix, they are such an amazing company and are so so easy to work for! I always feel like I can reach out to my supervisors and they are always so quick to help with anything I need.”
What does the X Factor mean to you? (the X Factor is the personal and professional abilities of our staff to use their experience, orientation to serve, skill set, optimism, passion & honesty to bring the best care to our clients and their families.)
L: “The X-Factor is super important to me. Being a caregiver or a nurse can be so impactful on someone’s life and I think that being the right person for the job is important. Obviously your skills are important but I think what is more important is our attitude, optimism, passion, and honesty. Your mood and demeanor can completely make or break a visit or even someone’s day, being that light in our clients lives is arguably the most important part of our job.”
Tell us a little about yourself.
L: “When I’m not at work I love working on things like legos or diamond paintings. Having something to build and use my hands for is always so fun! I also love collecting and spend lots of time searching for the right item. The thrill of finding something I’ve wanted for an amazing price is always my favorite.”
