Meet Jennifer McBride! Jennifer is a Hospice Social Worker in the Springfield, MO area.
When we asked Jennifer what gives her the passion to do what she does she answered, “My passion for social work (helping others) is an innate part of who I am. It is a God-given purpose in my life. I enjoy meeting people where they are in life (usually a crisis or difficult time) and going on the journey with them to find meaning, acceptance, and peace.”
“I love that I get to help people when they are in desperate need of emotional support, resources, help, etc. I love getting to work with a team of social workers, nurses, bath aids, and chaplains who care about our patients as much as I do. It is rewarding to see the impact made on a family – sometimes in real time. I chose Phoenix because the culture is unique and one of the most supportive environments I’ve had the privilege to work in.”

I am able to add different perspectives, knowledge, and experiences to a situation than other disciplines on our team. That difference is valued and respected, which offers a richness to the care we are able to provide our patients.”
