In Missouri, services are generally authorized through the Bureau of Special Health Care Needs (Missouri Medicaid). The umbrella program is Healthy Children and Youth (HCY), and there are three programs under this umbrella: private duty nursing, personal care, and advanced personal care services. Services can also be funded through private insurance and Private Duty Care services.
