Meet Geraldine, a caregiver from our Independence, MO region!
We asked, “What gives you the passion to do what you do?” Geraldine replied, “I love people. I love the joy on a client’s face when I see them in the morning. The conversations we have. I love my job. Phoenix is a great place to work, I also love the power of God for allowing me to do this work for all these years it’s so rewarding. When I see a big smile on my client face each morning that is it for me. Thank you Phoenix for this opportunity to do what I LOVE.”
When we asked her, “Why Home Care & Why Phoenix?” she said, “At the time I was looking to change my work place, I heard about Phoenix from a friend and I applied. Thank God I got the job. I had worked in health care for years and kept working it. I really enjoy what I do.”
In response to “What would you like to tell others contemplating working at Phoenix Home Care & Hospice?”, Geraldine replied with, “You got to love what you do. You got to be placed with the right person. If you got that you got it.”
Geraldine has worked in home care for 27 years, and been with Phoenix for 12 years! 🎉
Outside of work, she loves reading God’s word, watching tv, and hanging out with her daughters & grandchildren whenever possible. She went on to say, “God has been so good to me. I am 65 years young 😊 and I am in no way tired. He is so amazing.”
