Meet Katrina Hester! Katrina is an LPN in the Topeka region!
We asked Katrina to share with us what gives her the passion to do what she does. She said, “I love being able to become a part of my patient and their families lives, finding out about their past, things they love, things that brought them joy and continue to bring them joy. Becoming a part of their story, even for a moment, gives me great joy. Also, being there for the family through this difficult time, making this transition even the smallest bit easier for them, helping to manage symptoms and address any needs so they can have less stress and worry during their visits is so important to me. Honoring that person’s ending to their life is just as valuable as honoring every other part of their life.”
