Say hello to employee spotlight, Kelsi Calfas, RN, BSN!
Kelsi has been a part of our Independence team for five months and has already made a huge impact on those around her. An element of our culture at Phoenix would be the 8 Principles of Flight. One quality Kelsi is recognized for is our principle, Attitude Determines Altitude.
When we asked Kelsi what gives her the passion to do what she does, she answered, “Making patients feel seen, heard, and important.”
When asked, “What would you like to tell others contemplating working at Phoenix Home Care and Hospice?” she replied, “It is an excellent career choice for any healthcare staff, no matter where you are at in your life, and it lets you make a difference to so many patients that otherwise would slip through the cracks of healthcare.”
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find her with her kids at school activities and sports. Kelsi also loves being outside and reading.
