Sarah, PCA

Meet Sarah, a Personal Care Attendant from our Joplin, MO region!

We asked her, “What gives you the passion to do what you do?” She said, “I’ve always had a desire to serve and care for others. When my father was diagnosed with ALS, I was so touched by some of the people we met who helped care for him and support our family through that journey. I want to impact others the same way.”

When we asked, “Why Home Care & Why Phoenix?” she told us, “Phoenix really cares about their employees and the clients!”

We asked, “What would you like to tell others contemplating working at Phoenix Home Care & Hospice?” Her response was, “If you have a serving, patient heart, and a desire to help others feel seen and cared for, I say absolutely give Phoenix Home Care and Hospice a try!”

Of our X Factor (an important element of our unique Phoenix values), Sarah says, “What it means is making a difference in someone’s life who otherwise wouldn’t get the care and attention they need. To make them feel seen and loved and important!”

Phoenix is blessed to have had Sarah as part of the team for about 13 months now. We can tell that she’s passionate about caring for others, and her team can confirm that she always works hard to serve our clients to the best of her ability!

Outside of work, Sarah tells us, “I’m a boy mama through and through! My time away from my job consists of spending time with my son. We like to go to care and monster truck shows, explore the outdoors and count down the days to our annual beach vacation!”

Thank you for always putting our clients and others first, Sarah! We’re proud to have you on Team Phoenix!
