Meet Siena C., a Private Duty Nursing RN from our Springfield region. She is our latest Nurse of the Month!đ
Siena has been with Phoenix for 2 years. She has faithfully served her sweet client and is loved by EVERYONE she meets! From her excellent charting and updates to the team about client condition, medication and treatment changes to her everyday personal touches, she blesses and improves the life of her not so little guy and the family that she serves.
This last year, all of her training and nursing experience was needed as her client’s acuity went up. PICC line management, IV medications, constant monitoring was now required as the only way her client could stay out of the ICU. Siena rolled up her sleeves and got to work. She has organized his care at home to adapt to the new normal and make life sweet for her little guy and his family. What a blessing she is!
She consistently demonstrates all 8 of the principals of flight but today, we celebrate her as she demonstrates Principle #1 (Attitude determines Altitude) conquering this years challenges with a contagiously positive attitude,  Principle #2 (Delivering Our Mission) creating meaningful moments while providing Private Duty Nursing to her client built on innovation, skill and Christ-like values of patience, honesty, compassion, and Principle #5 (Be the Wind and Serve Others). If I didn’t know better I would think SERVE is her middle name!Â
