Mary Gilbert, RN

Mary Gilbert, RN

This isn’t the first time we have spotlighted Mary Gilbert. After such great feedback, we had to shine a light on her again!

“We have a real life angel among our Phoenix family. How blessed we are to have such an outstanding RN! Nurse Mary assessed my mother and quickly identified that she needed to return to the ER. After a second admit to the hospital, we found out she had suffered a stroke. Nurse Mary has demonstrated great compassion, skillset and knowledge of her field. I would like to express great appreciation to this angel RN! Her expertise, care for her clients and professionalism has not gone unnoticed.”

We wanted to pick Mary’s brain on the secrets of her success, so we asked her a few of the questions below.

What is your favorite memory at Phoenix so far?

Mary: “I do not have a specific favorite memory. I can honestly say I just enjoy the time I get to spend with my patients and get to know their families. I love that it is not the hustle and bustle of hospital work. I get to know the patients, enjoy time with them and watch them gain their health back through our services.”

Give us one piece of career advice.

M: “Once piece of advice as a home health nurse is to always be open-minded and seek advice from those in the business. They will save you!!!”

What is one thing you can’t work without?

M: “The one thing I cannot work without is my co-workers! They are always there to help and we have amazing bosses when we get overwhelmed! It is my pleasure to work for this amazing company.”

Mary has been part of Phoenix for the last 10 months and has quickly become a vital member of our team. Thank you, Mary, for your clear dedication to your clients each day!
