Rainbow Network Receives $5,200 from Phoenix Home Care

Springfield, MO – October, 2014: The Rainbow Network, headquartered in Springfield, MO, has received a generous donation of $5,200 from Phoenix Home Care also headquartered in Springfield, MO. Phoenix Home Care’s President, Phil Melugin, will be presenting the check to Rainbow Network’s President and Founder, Keith Jaspers on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the Rainbow Network offices 3834 South Avenue, Springfield, MO at 9:30 am. You are invited to stop by and meet Phil and Keith and learn more about the life changing work Phoenix Home Care and Rainbow Network, is doing together in rural Nicaragua.

29 employees of Phoenix Home Care representing the 13 offices in three states joined in the effort to raise money to support Rainbow Network’s Healthcare program in rural Nicaragua. The money given by the employees was matched by the Phoenix Home Care organization. In May, 2015, several employees along with Phil and his wife Kim, of Phoenix Home Care, will be working side by side with Rainbow Network medical personnel in the medical clinics in some of the communities Rainbow Network serves in rural Nicaragua.

Started in 1995, The Rainbow Network works in 7 regions of rural Nicaragua, including 111 communities where nearly everyone lives in severe poverty and poor sanitary conditions. Rainbow Network serves over 42,000 people with feeding centers, healthcare, education, housing and economic development programs.
