Meet Dianna Summitt, a CNA, in the Independence region!
“I have loved caring for others for a long time. I watched my mother care for others all my life. It came natural for me to follow in her footsteps. My mother became sick, and I took care of her until her last days. Dealing with both sides with working in healthcare and also with hospice on a personal level. I know the different emotions the feelings that come along with sudden change that terminal illness brings to a home and a family. I feel it equipped me with the ability to care for the patient and support the family.”
“It warms my heart to be the help my mother instilled in me, to be the help the family needs during such a difficult time, and it also allows me to keep the love of my mom alive.”
“Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family.”
“Phoenix is a great place to work and care for others. My team and coworkers are nice, friendly, and supportive.”
