Meet Jennafer Wilde! Jennafer is an LPN in the St. Louis area.
We asked Jennafer to share with us what gives her the passion to do what she does. This is what she said, “Well the short answer is My passion for what I do came from having my daughter…I found myself applying for this position as a pediatric home health nurse shortly after having her and graduating nursing school to fulfill my promise to God, to give back.”
We asked Jennafer, “Why Phoenix Home Care & Hospice?” She replied, “Well, have you ever felt like something was just the right thing to do? When I read the ad for the job That’s how I knew, it just felt right. So, I applied and I love my job and what I do.”
We asked Jennafer to share what she would like people to know who are contemplating a career with Phoenix. She said, “I would tell them “come on, what are you waiting for!? We will help you along the way!” It is truly one of the most rewarding jobs I’ve ever had the pleasure of working.”
For Jennafer, the X factor means, “…taking everything you’ve learned in school and rising to the calling of caring for others with an open mind and a compassionate heart. It is being the reason for that smile on their faces when you walk In and greet them good morning because they know that they are not alone and we are here to help. It is doing our very best to provide the best quality of daily life for those we serve. The X factor for me is putting in the work day in and day out.. and then a year later getting to see it all pay off and being able to see one of my patients improving or doing things they’ve never done before. That is one of the best feelings in the world. It truly makes my heart happy.”
