Meet Employee Spotlight from our PDN team in Wichita, Lisa Wolfe, LPN. She has been with Phoenix for almost a year and is truly soaring in her career.
When asked, “What gives you the passion to do what you do?” Lisa replied, “I’ve done it my entire life, is rewarding to see your hard work appreciated by so many. Truly nothing easier than helping those in need. The good days outweigh the bad.”
We also asked Lisa, “What does the X- Factor mean to you?” The X Factor is the personal and professional abilities of our nurses to use their experience, orientation to serve, skill set, optimism, passion & honesty to bring the very best care to our clients and their families.
She answered, “When I can help make someone else’s day by caring for their loved one, then it’s the least I can do. To see their eyes light up and smile is so rewarding to me. I cared for clients in long term care for 40 years. I’ve laughed and cried with so many and they have filled my heart as well. To bring learned and earned skill sets to home care will be an adventure.”
We also love to get to know our nurses and caregivers a little better and asked her to tell us a little about herself. “I’ve always enjoyed the outdoors hiking, biking and camping on top of the list still today. I like the quiet life for sure. I have since started a new interest in paint pouring. My husband was kind enough to set up my extra room in the house to “play in my paint”. And GO CHIEFS!!!!”
