Meet Lorena, a Certified Nursing Assistant from our Springfield, MO region!
We asked her, “What gives you the passion to do what you do?” She said, “I enjoy people. It’s a pleasure for me to take care of people. I want them to feel like they are someone special and that makes me feel good inside.”
When we asked, “Why Home Care & Why Phoenix?” she told us, “Phoenix is more like a family. Coworkers and patients are my family. I enjoy making sure people get treated the best way they should be treated.”
We asked, “What would you like to tell others contemplating working at Phoenix Home Care & Hospice?” Her response was, “If you love your work it’s not a job, it is a pleasure. I believe we have the best RNs and CNAs, and other coworkers in their professions that work within Phoenix. And our Leadership is awesome! I have never worked for anyone better.”
Outside of work, Lorena tells us she has been married for sixteen years. “I have two children, both girls. My youngest works for Phoenix too, Rylea Ray, she has been here for three years. I have five grandchildren (four boys and one girl), and they are my everything. I enjoy spoiling my grandkids and being with family.”
Lorena brings an impressive thirty years of home care experience to the table, and has been with Phoenix for six years. She is such an asset to our team and we feel lucky to have her!
