Meet Maria, a Hospice RN from our Springfield, MO region!
We asked, “What gives you the passion to do what you do?” Maria replied, “Since I was a little girl I have always aspired to be a nurse. Working in hospice I have experienced extraordinary families and patients and have stories to last a lifetime. I feel so blessed to have been trusted with my patients and families during some of their most difficult days.”
When we asked her, “Why Home Care & Why Phoenix?” she said, “You are never alone! Everyone on the team is always a phone call away! We such an amazing interdisciplinary team!”
In response to “What would you like to tell others contemplating working at Phoenix Home Care & Hospice?”, Maria replied with, “Having the flexibility of working full time and being a mom is unmatched! I am so blessed to be able to work and help take care of my patients and their families then come home and take care of my own family! The staff are very supportive!”
Outside of work, Maria is busy being a mom to her 18-month old daughter Ellie, and her 3-year old son, Landon. She went on to say, “They keep me extremely busy in a good way! I love to golf and of course, shopping! I also love to get outside and go on long walks with my dogs and kids to enjoy the fresh air!”
