Meet Sharonda, a Personal Care Attendant from our Jefferson City, MO region!
We asked her, “What gives you the passion to do what you do?” She said, “The love that I have to take care of the elderly, and I have been in healthcare for over 25 years.”
When we asked, “Why Home Care & Why Phoenix?” she told us, “I’ve chosen home care because I’ve always worked in the nursing home, and I have made a decision that I love doing one-on-ones because I can give them the care they deserve.”
We asked, “What would you like to tell others contemplating working at Phoenix Home Care & Hospice?” Her response was, “That Phoenix is a very good and delightful place to work. They are always willing to make sure that you and the clients are comfortable with each other.”
Of our X Factor (an important element of our unique Phoenix values), Sharonda says, “I just do what comes to my mind and heart for the clients and family.❤️💙💜 It’s the love that I have for the people, and the families that I’m taking care of.”

Outside of work, Sharonda tells us, “I like to spend time with family, take trips or do some outings, but mainly just relaxing on the couch. Also my favorite thing to do is getting a pedicure and manicure.”
