Shelby Price, LPN

Meet Shelby Price, a LPN, in the Independence region!

” I have been working with Phoenix for 1 year and 1 month with hopefully many more to come! I have known what I have wanted to be since the 7th grade. My mother is a registered nurse, she is the nurse I strive to be every day. I believe I was meant to be a nurse, in my opinion compassion cannot be taught, it is the most important aspect between a good and great nurse. I strive to impact at least one persons life each and every day. Even the smallest bit of kindness could mean the world to the people we care for.”

“Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends which ranges from adult league softball games, watching my father race his race car, shootings guns at the range, taking the kids to the park or even blanket pallets with movies and popcorn! We make the most of moms days off!” “Honestly I come from long term care background, but I was ready for a change and nervous to try something new. Coming to Phoenix was the best career and personal decision I have made in my life. I love that we have the ability to care for patients in the comfort of their own homes. Home care is constantly challenging and you must learn to be adaptive. I love to test myself in my career, if your not continuing to learn and improve then how are you growing as a professional/person in life?! I am forever grateful to Phoenix for this opportunity and plan to continue to do great work for our patients.”

“I would encourage you to take the leap of faith, come join our beautiful team and let us help guide you! We have great nurses who are eager and willing to help not only the patients but coworkers when needed. Communication is the key to any business and Phoenix meets those needs in every aspect.”
